Everyone responds to different media in different ways. I think the top one has some character for sure. However, I would loose some of the line work in the circle. I think it distracts from the show a bit. Interesting color choices on both! Would be interested in seeing explore a real clean line approach so far I have just seen you try more expressive/ marky pieces.
It is my absolutely favorite shoe, because I never ever in hundred years will be able to make such a great image out of squigles and twiggles... Cool shoe!
